Azaleas at Isabella Plantation
I read on social media that the azaleas at Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park were in bloom, so we decided to go to Richmond Park for our walk this morning and to see the flowers. Isabella Plantation is a 40 acre woodland garden set in Richmond Park that was first planted in 1830, and at this time of year is known for its stunning displays of azaleas and rhododendrons. However, only a few of the plants were in bloom, most were still in tight bud or not even budding yet, so I must go back in a couple of weeks to see the full display. This is one of the plants that is in bloom and its beautiful. We had flat whites in the park and then came home.
We had to go into the village so ended up having a light lunch at the vegetarian cafe there, Gavin had a lentil chilli and I had a salad with avo, seeds, hemp and other healthy bits.
You may have read about the AI doll trend that many are trying - myself included. In extras is my Xena doll! I did one of myself as a photographer but the doll looks nothing like me, I will have to try again and give more detailed instructions.
