Brutal

Remembered that The Plot Thickens would be at the Castle Terrace market today - and, crucially that the latter opens at 9 am. So got myself on to a bus and purchased a few plants (two each of bulb fennel and green ballhead cabbage, one padron chilli). He's in Leith next week so I'll probably augment.....

Had forgotten that buses still on diversion from the Shore northbound - so had to get out in Gt Junction St and walk home. Gave me a chance to appreciate the full brutality of Linksview House on display since they cut down the trees along the front of it. It's the companion block to the banana flats but without the 'interesting' curve.

Took the wee plants home then over to the Leith Market; secured a pie for D and got a fancy wee puff pastry tartlet for myself. A few other bits and pieces, then home. Ah, in case of interest to, say, Arclight there'll be no Pie Dolly stall next weekend as herself and Norm are getting married! (On Sunday in Custom House, apparently).
