Narcissi

Another gloriously sunny and warm day. This morning I went over to the plant nursery at Edgefield to get my tumbling tom plants and some more bedding plants. Then I went to G's to drop something off that I'd got for her at Sainsbury's and to pick up a couple of very yummy chocolate brownies from her recent baking, and enjoyed a cuppa and catch up. Back home with hand tools I forked over my raised bed and levelled it, watered it well and after lunch put in the first rows of spring onions, lettuce and rocket. I also put in the poles and made a net cage over it - I'm sure I bought some new netting in the Autumn, but can I find it?!? Then I sat in the garden in the sun and listened to my excellent audiobook. The temperature reached at least 18C today. I also emptied my water butts to put some much needed water in the pond, and mowed the lawn.
