Butterflies
Another glorious morning, with more thin cloud around this afternoon, but up to 20C. After shopping in town and picking up a large sack of sunflower hearts for the birds, I drove over to the gardens at Natural Surroundings to see what was around. Lots of bees and butterflies, quite a few flowers, but no dragonflies. There's a wetter section of the gardens, mown paths on which are often unusable even in mid Summer, but today they were easily dry enough to walk on. So nice to see an orange-tip butterfly and I liked the green-veined white on the green leaf in the shade. This afternoon I sat out reading, probably the last day for a while, it's been a lovely couple of weeks.
