Abstract Thursday - ‘Spring’ (Tulips & Marigolds)
More action in my epic renovation saga today. I got up early and was ready for 8am when Shane the electrician was due. He’d been on an emergency call out to another of his regulars, so he and Charlie were a bit late, but they were great. While Charlie fixed the unserviceable socket in the kitchen, I showed Shane the various other electrical jobs that needed doing and even discussed the electrics required for the summerhouse when it’s been built. He’s got lots of reliable local tradesman contacts, so if I’m stumped I can always drop him a quick WhatsApp message and ask. He recommended a chap called Dan to do the entire summerhouse project, so that’s good to know.
Shane and Charlie left at ten to ten, so I was able (just) to leg it up to church for the Thursday service and coffee afterwards.
Thanks as ever to Ingeborg for hosting the Abstract Thursday challenge, with the theme this week of ‘Abstract Spring/Autumn’. It’s spring in the UK, so here’s my impression of colourful tulips and marigolds in the churchyard at St Luke’s. It’s been through several stages of processing in two different editing apps. I’ve also made a simpler abstract image of pear blossom on a tree outside the Tesco supermarket this afternoon before I went in to buy some new Marigold washing-up gloves. I love the beautiful blue of the sky in the background, so thought I’d pop that in Extras.
