Saltaire Blooms

Today was pretty packed - me and P went on our seperate visits. I had breakfast in Halifax with former work pal A, we haven't had a good catch up in years so that was great to finally have the time.  Then I headed to Saltaire for lunch with G, also a former work pal and after eating we had a stroll along to Robert's Park.  I took as many pictures of the trees and flowers as I could to send to another pal who isn't well and not able to come out of the house at the moment.  On a sunny spring day Yorkshire feels very busy in comparison with Lanarkshire!

I then quickly dropped in on another pal who also isn't having a great time at the moment, and was just in time to nip her to the train station so we could have something of a catch up. My last trip of the day was to Bradford to meet J and P (more former work pals) for a curry in the Kash.    I was a little early and enjoyed wandering around the newly pedestrainised town centre, Bradford was looking really good in the sunshine and with the new plants.  The changes make it much easier to get around the city centre too and I actually enjoyed it.  Obligatory trip to Waterstones too as you have to when in Bradford.

It was great to catch up with J and P and they had some good news which was nice as good news seems to be in short supply these days.  Though me and J were distressed at the lack of mango lassi in the Kash!

Bit of a whirlwind day but really good to see people.
