Sparaxis grandiflora ssp fimbriata
In flower in the greenhouse now, a South African cormous plant. It was too cold for it in Norfolk (without a heated greenhouse) but with frosts rare here it survives - if only just!
A gentle day, feeling a bit flat and nursing a mild but persistent headache. After a couple of morning chores and a walk with Meg, I popped in to see my boss at work, by chance picking up a couple of extra shifts next week. The rest of the morning spent sitting in the sun outside pottery, glazing.
Post lunch I had a siesta before taking Meg out again. Whist out I had a text from the Tesco telling me I have a £10 voucher as a courtesy after my recent interaction. I couldn't recall having done anything to warrant this generosity .... and then looked at my emails as a delivery was due, which answered it. Delivery cancelled - a problem with the delivery van. So a rethink on what to have for tea and then I rescheduled the order and claimed by discount.
Singing tonight was good despite my still feeling flat. AN earlyish night needed now.
