Lovely Day For It
A ride up and down the line in the guards van. I was rostered as guard but was accompanying a young chap returning to the role after breaking his ankle earlier this year. He needed to test it out .... so I let him do most of the work. This worked for both of us! All good at the end of the trip.
Before and after the train ride Meg had a walk, the later one a long ramble along the riverbank path. This evening she came with me to pottery where the second glazing workshop went well but I left her in the car most of the time. She likes to know where I am I think, this no worse than being left at home and she got to come out for a sniff round a couple of times.
A couple of days at home next. Think they'll do me good.
