Bleeding Hearts

Hubby’s colonoscopy prep will have a 2-day required liquid diet. He was in no hurry to start the day. He didn’t get up until 8:00 am. I quietly ate my breakfast sandwich. I promised Kim I’d finish reading her professional teaching certification package today. And I did. The weather was horrible. We had on and off periods of heavy rain. Plus it was chilly. I went out during an unusual drizzle phase, fed the birds and grabbed my blip. My bleeding heart plants are loaded with blooms this year. It seems like all plants have a profusion of blooms this year but they fade quicker than in the past. Hubby spent part of the day learning more about the features in our van. The salesperson set hubby up as the main driver of the vehicle. He added my profile and set some unique parameters. I was lazy today, read for a while, played scrabble on my phone and simply wasted the day. Our hardest downpour is scheduled during Parker’s lacrosse game; we are staying home. Hubby’s Dulcolax should start working by then. I have no other plans for the evening. This gray weather has made me very sleepy and useless. Wishing you a quiet evening with loads of rest. Be safe. Thanks for your visit and kind comments lately. “A bleeding heart reminds us that love is not without risks, but it is always worth the journey.” - Jane Doe, author of Bleeding Heart
