And Baby Makes Three (Great-Grandchildren)
Hubby is still on his liquid diet. He didn’t have a lot of energy today. He updated his financial records. My first post-breakfast task was making Lauren’s favorite pasta dish. We scheduled our visit for 1:00 pm. It took a while to get the kitchen back in order. Hubby tried to learn more about our new car features until I was ready. It may take our remaining driving years to figure it all out. We went to meet our latest family addition, Luca William. He slept the entire time we visited but River and Isla kept us entertained. River asked for help with his homework. It was about birds and their eggs; I learned something new today. Isla wanted to show me all her toys until my lap could not hold one more plastic piece of fruit. She is becoming less shy every time we are together. I held Luca while the others ate lunch; he slept on my lap until it was time to pick up Brooklyn. River made us promise to visit again soon. He was happy with his pasta and car travel bingo games we brought them. We will see him at his first t-ball game later in the week. We also brought Brooklyn a treat today - a juicy navel orange and chocolate covered peanut butter hearts. My friend finally made the name tags for my niece and great nephew’s Christmas ornament. We ran up to her house to pick them up. I will make the ornaments tomorrow or Thursday and try to deliver them soon. We came home and took a nice walk, more than a mile. I was ready to crash on the couch when we finally got back. I saved a bit of pasta for me so there is no need to cook. Hubby will be ready for a nice meal tomorrow. He has already put in his order for pancakes after his procedure. Wishing you fun times with family and a special meal time this week. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting.
