Back to the usual.

Inspired by a blogger I follow, I decided to start the day by making some sourdough hot cross buns. Patience required, but they are progressing well, and I will put them in the fridge overnight and bake tomorrow. Then I made lunch, the delicious Moroccan lentil soup I've made several times recently. I will put it on my blog soon. So good that we ate all of it.

No-one showed up for the Monday walk, so I did it on my own again. A bit longer than I intended, because it was such a lovely day. In any case I need to shift the weight I put on in Barcelona.

And finally, the kestrels are back in the chateau. They've been taunting me for several days -- I still haven't got a photo, though I've seen and heard them a lot.
