Spring is sprung
It was a beautiful spring day today, finally. No-one's told our wisteria; this is a neighbour's.
The first task was to drive to Narbonne to pick up S. He stayed an extra night in Barcelona; he wanted to visit the Park Guell, but there were no tickets so he went to la Pedrera instead. And to a Catalan conversation group in a bar in the evening.
On the way home I suggested stopping in at Grand Frais to buy some fruit, since we didn't have any in. We emerged with purchases including, but not limited to, apples, pears, raspberries, pineapple, cheese, two different kinds of cream, smoked haddock, prawns, blini, plus some tortellini and pasta sauce for lunch.
After lunch, while S was having a siesta because he'd slept badly and got up early, I drove to Lézignan to pick up S and T from the train. They are finally back from Dublin -- we haven't seen them for nearly six months, so it was a pleasure to see them. They gave me some organic Irish smoked salmon, so that was dinner with blini and one of the types of cream. They aren't staying long, but hopefully we'll get a chance for a proper catch-up before they zoom off again.
When I was at home, I did a cull and edit of my Barcelona photos -- here they are if you're up for a gaudy/Gaudi architectural extravaganza. I backblipped yesterday too.
