Blossom Bank

It’s been another warm and sunny day. The warmth this week has hurried along the blossoms and bud burst on the trees. Spring is now in full swing. In the meadow the blackthorn blossoms are at their peak and even the oak trees are beginning to look green.

It’s been a gently active Sunday here. I spent the morning at the allotment weeding and watering. I had several breaks to sit in the shade and have a drink. This afternoon we’ve been planning for a visit by my sister and family later on next week. We have a menu and list of things to do before they arrive.
