Mossy Cup

A beautiful sunny morning. It felt like springtime. The blackthorn blossoms are in full bloom as are the cherry and plum blossoms. This little nest has been exposed by some hedge cutting. It’s an old nest but beautifully formed.

This afternoon the breeze picked up as we caught the edge of the storm passing further north and west in the UK. However as I type we’re quite a way south of home, in Bordeaux for a few days. Our flight from Gatwick was slightly bumpy on take off but fine otherwise. We’re staying near the airport tonight. It’s warm - 21 degrees at 10pm.

- For a walk in the sunshine with Merlin before we had to drop him at the kennels.
- For a comfortable bed in our hotel room and WiFi to catch-up with Blip friends.
