Yoga and Piano
This morning I attended the monthly yoga workshop held at the community centre in Emsworth. The centre had a fire last month and the roof of our usual room was badly damaged. Fortunately we were able to be accommodated in the newer part of the building which was untouched by the fire. It was relatively quiet in the building today as all the usual children’s activities are paused because of the Easter holidays. Just one piano played gently in the background as it accompanied a dance class.
On my walk down to yoga I dropped off one of my bicycles at the bicycle repair shop. It was my very old but much loved bike which needs a few tweaks to the brakes. I also had time to pop into the nearby arts and crafts shop to buy some cards. The shop is housed in the building that was once the Emsworth Post Office sorting office. The large sorting office space is now used for art workshops and I could hear one was taking place this morning.
After yoga I wandered home in the warm sunshine and felt happy to sit down and eat lunch when I got in - Andy had made a fresh batch of sausage rolls!
My blip is of a small collage which hangs on the wall in the community centre.
Hoping your Saturday has been kind to you.
