What a fabulous day out with friends on the High Weald Landscape Trail from Tenterden to Rolvenden Layne and back in glorious weather.

Back in Tenterden we had time to look at the carriage stock in the station, the Wealden Pullman carriages in the Pullman Dock and a quick peek in the Tenterden Town signalbox window to look at the interior. If I’d taken my keys we could have looked inside.

We had a wonderful evening too, great food and easy conversation. Having only known them for a few months we were apprehensive about telling them of our move to Cumbria. We need not have been concerned, they were delighted for us, wished us well, invited us around to them when we’re down in May and looked forward to visiting us when we’re settled.
