Homework

I haven’t planted bulbs in the garden until last autumn and I’m so glad I did as they are now providing some much welcome interest and cheerful colour. This pink tulip is quite ornate and one of several in a pot on the patio.

Today has been a day of being at home preparing future meals and baking bread, cleaning, organising, popping to the allotment to plant a self-seeded lavender and perpetual spinach, and dog walking. I feel a little more on top of things…for a moment at least!
