Butterfly and blossom
Today reached 21C but it did not quite feel 21C as there was a strong breeze all day. I was very pleased to see butterflies for the first time today when out walking in the woods, I had the wrong lens with me so this was taken with my wide angle zoom lens, not what I would usually use to photograph butterflies. I was delighted to see a few peacock butterflies today.
I had lunch with a friend in Cobham, we sat outside the cafe and it was very pleasant in the sunshine. I enjoyed a superfood salad with lots of healthy stuff in it, it was delicious.
Once I got back home I got stuck into auditing the end of year accounts for our camera club, as I am the appointed Examiner of the accounts. I actually started this task yesterday and I was able to finish off today, so the accounts will be signed and ready for our AGM next month.
Last night I watched the new Bridget Jones movie - I found it funny, sad and silly. Renee Zellweger is 55 years old and does not look a day over 30 with a wrinkle free face - but then she is not capable of many facial expressions either. It was fun and I did have some good laughs.
I am very much enjoying the new book by one of my favourite authors, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Her new novel, Dream Count was 10 years in the making and it is brilliant.
And I think tariffs is in everyone's conversations today - we have had many Whatsapps going back and forth in our family group about it, Luke seeing the effect on the markets around the world at work.
Not looking forward to the MRI tomorrow, I get a bit claustrophobic but a friend said it's really not that bad.
