Blossoms

Today was bright and sunny again, I am loving this weather - but the wind was quite breezy. Taking photos of these blossom on my walk today was more difficult than it looks as they were blowing about in the wind.

It has been a busy day. I had my group golf lesson, in addition to my wrist being painful my elbow is almost worse! From all the hand clenching exercises for my wrist, griping therapy putty etc,  my elbow has taken strain so last week I stopped all hand exercises.

I had to go into Cobham to post something (as out post office is still under renovation) and got a few groceries that Waitrose had run out of when I was there on Monday.

After lunch I drove to Wimbledon to go see the hand and wrist surgeon. The first thing he noticed as I sat down was my Reynauds Syndrome, as some of my fingers were white due to lack of circulation. This usually happens when I am cold and I wasn't cold today but it seems to happen at any time these days. I told him about my wrist - and elbow - and he confirmed that I have given myself tennis elbow due to all the wrist exercises. I feel like an old crock! The elbow is very painful so he showed me some exercises to do for it and said I need physio on that. Then he examined my wrist and would like an MRI scan, he tried to get me an appointment right there and then but the earliest they had was at 8pm tonight. So I will have to go back, and I now have an appointment for an MRI scan on Friday morning. He also said no golf, other than putting :(

Wimbledon is relatively close to where I live, it's only about 25 minutes away in traffic, but there is no parking once you get there. I parked at the train station. I realised it would be easier and cheaper to go by train on Friday as the train journey is only 19 minutes and the cost of it is less than the parking I paid.

Gavin is out tonight at a work function so I plan to settle down and watch the new Bridget Jones movie on Sky.
