The evil eye
Barry, the cat that adopted Lucy and Reuben, giving me the evil eye, probably because I'm standing between her (yes, she's female!) and the food cooking on the hob!
Lucy was planning to come across to Holmfirth on Sunday for Mother's Day, but on perusing the timetables it became apparent that there are no trains from Leeds to Huddersfield on Sunday, just rail replacement buses. They take an age. It didn't take long to establish that she'd spend most of the day waiting for, or travelling on, buses. So much for public transport!
So we decided to celebrate Mother's Day a couple of days early. As luck would have it, MrM was playing at a ceilidh this evening just north of Leeds.
