What a grey day...

But only weather wise.

Agnes and Adrian arrived at ours just before 1pm and we headed to Broadslap for lunch and what an enjoyable time we had.  One of those lunches where everything is hysterically funny.  Of course since we've all known each other since school days so it doesn't take much to bring out that school child mentality in us!  My sides were sore by the end of lunch, and an added bonus of tasty food too.

Once back home Adrian and David collected their golf clubs and headed to the driving range. They were supposed to be playing golf but it was too wet.  Agnes and I had planned to crochet but we got too engrossed in blethering and the afternoon just flew by.

D & A returned and I had planned THIS for dinner (with added chorizo for the non-vegetarians) but we were all still too full from lunch, so we had Crudités and hummus instead, watched some instantly forgettable tv, and continued the laughter from lunch.  

Not too late a night as we were conscious of the clocks going forward and losing an hour of sleep.  Jeez we're getting old!  lol
