Ground Floor

The ground floor of my birthday Lego is now complete and I'm moving on to the first floor.  The ground floor encompasses a haberdashery shop and a restaurant with kitchen (and toilet room!). The detail is quite something and it's been fun to do.  Looks better in large.

We've put in a few hours in the drying ground today, making the most of the good weather to prepare the soil for the bug hotel afternoon on Sunday.  That has entailed much digging out of bracken and bramble roots.  Tony has cleared eight sowing circles so the children can sow the wildflower seed.

I came home early to put raspberry buns in the oven and to take out the washing load.
