JK Champs Long Distance Race

Today was the Long Distance Race back at Beaudesert and sadly the weather turned cold and damp.  I was taking photos along the finish before my run when lots of young children were coming in from the forest.  You can probably just see that this little girl in the red coat had broken her shoe yet there were no tears.  She simply stopped half way up the hill, took off her shoe and carried on running to the finish, applauded by spectators all the way.  She received a huge hug from Dad when she went through.  Love it.
