Biscuits

Opening night of “The Incident Room” last night, and we all received one of these biscuits with a personalised card from the director. A really nice touch and much appreciated.
The play went well, though it got very hot on stage in the second half and one of our cast started to feel a little unwell. Fortunately it was during his last scene and his character is starting to rant and rave at that point, so the odd dropped line wasn’t noticeable. Hopefully it will be a bit cooler in there tonight.
Mind you, I’m not exactly feeling on top form myself tonight. A very strenuous PT session this morning, and the after effects of yesterday’s long drive, have left me feeling somewhat sluggish this evening.
Luckily, I’m only on for five minutes near the start of the play. Plenty of time to sit and relax after that until it’s time for the bows…
