Takin’ Care Of Business

A trip down to Chester today to register a Court of Protection Order with mum’s bank. Whilst I was there I also met up with some of my sister’s support team to get updated as to her situation. Not the most fun filled day, but quite a lot was accomplished.
Having left at a reasonable time after lunch, we had one of the most trouble free runs up the M6 for many a long year - nice weather, no roadworks and light traffic. Which was a good thing because it’s the first night of “The Incident Room” tonight and I’ve been able to have a leisurely tea and leave for the theatre in good time.
In other news today, there is a possibility that last week’s play - “The Waiting Room” - might be going on tour in the summer. I think the plan is to do half a dozen one night performances in local theatres. A lot will depend on us all being available at the same time, so it may not happen, but it’s definitely an exciting prospect and would certainly be a first for me…
