Aaand relax

After so much rushing around and Doing Stuff, it was good to have a slow day.  I checked the Africa Twin for some loose bolts (which weren't; I had actually tightened them properly!) and fiddled with luggage for quite a time.  The machine is very wide with its side boxes on and the pannier frames need a brace between them.  When I moved house I filled the boxes with books and the frames bent with the load!  The question now is how best to bend a 16mm steel tube.

While in the garage pottering around I made a start on the second voltmeter, but I will leave wiring it up for another day.  More important was to solder the new connector on the battery charging lead.  That done I'd had enough of being cold and came inside to look at maps.

Half a pizza for tea today, which was alright, but it might have tasted better had I not misread the cooking instructions and overdone the time.  Sorry the photo is out of focus: my phone got confused switching between lenses!
