End of an Era
Hubby was at church helping with the parish clean up before I woke up this morning. My sister and BIL stopped by soon after I got up and dressed. They brought me a wonderful gift - may see it soon as my blip. They were heading to urgent care to see why my BIL was in such pain. No word from them yet. I fed the birds and straightened the kitchen after breakfast. Hubby got home earlier than anticipated. They had a good group of volunteers who filled 18 contractor size bags quickly. Most of the discarded material was old wreaths on the graves. Hubby helped me clean up file folders but we have many more to review. I have obsolete records from the ‘90’s. We ate a quick lunch and dressed for Brooklyn’s last pre-high school basketball game. It was quite a game with public school all stars vs private school all stars. We lost in overtime 32-31. Brooklyn had a good game including a 3-pointer. Her defense was spot on. We had to leave before the boys’ game so we could get ready for 5:00 Mass. I’ll make a baked fish dinner when we get home and hopefully finish cleaning up the files. Our rec room is filled with stacks of paper. We had sunshine all day but the temps barely got to 60°F. Hoping your day was pleasant. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. “Today is not the end but today is a new beginning.” - Amit Abraham
