Woke up to a lovely sunny morning. LM called round for her keys and a quick chat, then i hung my bedlinen outside to dry and hung up my new solar lights in the trees. They look good at the moment but not sure where I’ll put them once the trees are in full leaf- the solar panels won’t charge .
Moved a few pots around and swept the steps and then headed off to visit Su in Wirksworth. It was supposed to take an hour but two sets of temporary traffic lights, a long queue at one set of permanent lights, a bit of trouble finding the car park, then the car park being full so finding somewhere else to park and then walking back to the house added another 30 minutes to the journey. We had lunch and chatted and of course I got a tour of the house. I can see why she fell in love with it but it wouldn’t have been my choice. Left at about 4pm and had a slightly longer journey home - more traffic. Meant to take a photo of S’s house but of course I forgot so here is one of the many ladybirds in my garden at the moment.
