Did the usual Saturday chores, vacuumed downstairs and made date and oat slice ready for this afternoon. Va, Mi and Su arrived for a very convivial afternoon’s bridge.
Once they had left I drove over to Js to collect a delivery. It was raining heavily by then and to our surprise there were about 30 small frogs in his patio, all croaking madly! He is very pleased they have become established from the grog spawn we put in his pond three years ago but I don’t think he expected this many. Called in at Morrisons on the way home.
