Wet....

....very, very wet. Gosh it poured buckets today! Close to an inch, so they say. It was a good day to clean the house, putter around, and generally catch up with myself. I would have gone for a walk, but it would have been downright miserable. I did step out of the house long enough to take a quick shot of the hellebores in my courtyard!

We have our GUTS (Get Us To Spring) dinner tonight. I've blipped about this before - we have a group of eight of us who get together monthly during the winter months, well, actually until June. The hostess/host chooses the theme, makes the main dish, and we all choose to bring either a salad, appetizer, dessert or cocktail. Today I'm bringing a lovely spring salad! More tomorrow!
