How Low Can You Go?

I was watching this great white egret, hoping to see an unusual preening maneuver or a takeoff. I didn't get either of those, but I did get 7-8 pictures of the egret taking a deep bow. Such a pretty bird, especially with the brilliant blue sky.

The sky didn't last, giving way to clouds and a short afternoon shower. I stayed in and painted all day before making a spaghetti dinner for us and Steve and Cindy...with strawberry shortcake for dessert. Yummy.
