Yes or No? Did He or Didn't He?

I first noticed the pelican when he had the entire fish in his pouch, and I thought that he was in serious trouble. I thought that the fish was lodged in the throat. But, it wasn't. 

I watched as he attempted to swallow it, and as another pelican came in for the steal. So...did either bird succeed? Did either bird have a B-I-G breakfast? 

The bird did not do the tango,
there wasn't a stomach-filled jig.
Why wasn't there a throat-stretched dance?
The fish was just too darn big!

A walk with Mike and Cindy down at the riverfront, and a visit to see our s-i-l Joy at the hospital was our afternoon. Joy is doing well, and will be moved to a rehab hospital soon..
