Blossom

On the first day of Spring, what better way to celebrate than with an image of blossom. Not sure what variety of tree this is but it sits in the corner of a plot of land next to our house and overhangs the entrance to our drive. It is about as far as I am allowed to walk at the moment.  I'm 3 weeks in to a 6 weeks stretch being laid up after a foot op.  The consultant said I can now potter, so I did, to the end of the drive and back. I have already walked around the front garden and enjoyed afternoon coffee on the gravel patio in the front.
