The Leader

Today is my running club's 20 mile road race and many entrants use it as preparation for the spring Marathon season which is only a few weeks away. Normally I would be out marshalling but as I can't stand for long because of my healing foot, I decided to sit at the end of my drive and take pictures of the runners.  This is the leader as he passed me by, about 2.5 miles into the race. He already had a lead of around 100m.  When he passed by on his second lap he was even further ahead!
