Blender

Our (very old) hand blender was making some quite disturbing noises, so I ordered us a new one, and it arrived today. It's much quieter, and less worrying!

Tim did some good negotiating today. We've decided (after the extortionate quote) to ditch the idea of cladding the house, and go back to the idea of getting the pointing redone. Ian, who's laying the new paving at the back of the house, has agreed to do it, and for a good price too. Tim offered him a bit extra to pin him down to a definite date, so looks like we should get it sorted in the next couple of months.
