When Tim pulled the carpet up from the hallway, he put this cardboard down for us to walk on, instead of on the bare concrete. I don't know why (or maybe I do really), but when I looked at it today, it made me love him even more - the way he's trimmed it to fit around the doorways, and has put strips of cardboard to cover up the spiky carpet grippers. <3
