Our power finally came back mid morning.  I was really impressed by our solar system as it lasted until about 5am, not bad given that it is keeping the whole house powered.

The bold MrW went snuffling in long grass to get a good sniff at the poles on the perimeter of the forest. When his head came back up he was a mass of blackjacks.  

He was quite patient as I picked them all out, in fact he was so patient he was snoring part way through.

Its been an interesting day with some unexpected news about a potential client.  Suffice as to say we are glad we know what we know now before we got too involved.
