A lovely hot chicken and mushroom risotto, just what we needed for a chilly evening.

Another busy day done and only one more to go as Friday is a public holiday and we have plans to go wild beastie watching in a venue we haven't been to before.

A long walk with the pooches in the gloaming which felt weird as there was no power in the whole area.  It turns out that some numptie driving a truck had misjudged a corner and smacked into part of a substation.  And, to add insult to injury, loadshedding was announced an hour later.

It was good to get home and close the door and be grateful for our solar set up.
