Long shadows

More rain welcomed the day which meant it was a chilly start.

The sun did make a brief appearance late afternoon which we were grateful for as our power went out in the early hours so our solar system could get a boost.

Despite some sunshine it was a cool outing with the pooches.

Home to cook supper, but with a couple of minutes in the gas ran out. It’s a palaver to change the cylinder so we pulled out the single induction plate, heated some soup and had a coffee table picnic to go along with it.

Still no power as I write.
