Country road

Today I took as many steps as the last few months combined! Since the AM and I succumbed to some sort of ‘flu in January I’ve been feeling a tad under the weather. When a pal asked me to go out walking today I was going to suggest an outing for coffee instead, but forced myself to head out on one of the trails through Mountstewart demesne.

It was such a gorgeous day and a great walk! We were only out for about two hours, but it was enough to blow the cobwebs away. I thought that this path through the trees looked like an old track for horses pulling a wagon. I would have liked to sit and draw some of the scenery. Next time, perhaps.
