Sheep on the road

…. is the name of this life-size sculpture in bronze by artist Deborah Brown. The shepherd and his sheep are actually opposite the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, wombling along a pedestrianised area between the concert hall and some office buildings. I like the sculpture as it’s so unassuming; here I am, driving my sheep to market.

I travelled to Belfast by train to go to Avoca, a gorgeous shop that sells aspirational stuff costing lots of money. I went for a salad. The Ards Man and I deserve aspirational salads every now and again.
