Markings

As I headed up to town today, for a meeting at the RSE before heading up to work, I spied this peeling paint on a pub door. It appealed.

A very long day, made longer in all sorts of ways by the fact that I couldn't use the bike as the lift is out of service for a few days. Very irritating. I cannot get the bike down to the ground floor (or up again).

After work, I was proud of my capacity to navigate the bus system to get myself to Portobello for book group, but I was also very glad to be offered a lift back to Leith by Ridgeback13. Very tired by the time I eventually got to bed.
