Museum Monday Mockingbird

While Lisa went to swim class, I finally made it to the Ringling Museum. I took a nice walk before going in, and then all I did was walk the grounds. I'll save the museum for a later time when Lisa can go.

On the grounds there used to be 6 osprey nests in the surrounding area, but there is only one left. Even the trees that the nests were in are gone, probably due to the 2 hurricanes that hit this area.

Later, we went to see our sister-in-law Joy in the hospital. She is doing well and is in good spirits.

The mockingbird is the state bird of Florida, and he/she posed quite nicely for me on top of the statue's head.
