Fluffy

The dining room was earmarked for reorganising today.
First, there was a trip to B&Q for a tin of varnish and a flat-cut saw.
They had neither! .... not any kind of varnish and nothing even resembling a flat-cut saw. The staff hadn't even hear of a flat-cut saw! Unbelievable......

Luckily I had a fine (though slightly blunt) Japanese pull saw which I was able to use to to separate the top and bottom  of the sideboard - just not as neatly as I would have liked.

There was a trip over to Bags' to drop off some alcohol ... Tequila and Grand  Marnier, which we don't drink. The son-in-law was sorting out his garage and complaining that he wasn't able to get a slot at the dump - so it appears that I will be taking some of his stuff when I head there tomorrow.

My back is killing me this evening (too much bending and moving heavy objects today).
Hopefully it will have settled down for my trip to the dump.

I had picked up a small feather this morning as an 'emergency blip' (from a pigeon I think)  should it be required.
It was.
