Diary of an Edinburgher

Bin Find No 5,683…

I started a new fitness video on YouTube. It fitted my abilities - ie on a chair, lots of arm movements, with weights. Then legs, sitting and standing. It was about an hour long! But I kept going. Even though Archie was getting fidgety to go out. I might do her again tomorrow.

I also tried JR's (and Hazel's) favourite breakfast - one egg, two egg whites (lots of protein - this new regime is getting serious).

Archie was itching to get out by then, as I was later than usual. A brisk walk round the Links was taken, and we spotted this fabulous wee car.

After a cuppa at home again, we set off for a longer walk. But my legs were not too keen this time. I did try to stride it out, but soon wilted. The intended long walk round the Meadows was cut short, and we came back up round the roads. I had to sit down a couple of times...

In fact, when I got home, I lay on the sofa and didn't move all afternoon. JR and Archie went out again, and I browsed YouTube, something I rarely do. But I found lots of people building 'Tinies' - small homes, and it just kept going on that theme - people documenting the work involved in making old houses, outhouses, garages and overgrown property livable. Been there, done that...

Been busy reading the 6 Nations match reports. Some great games and amazing stand out players. And Italy have improved SO much. My brother (who lives in France) pointed out that France has 30 professional rugby clubs. England has 10, Wales has 4, Scotland and Italy have 2.
