TV SORTED!!!
I got out my other shoes, which are very comfortable, but I can't wear them for too long - they're too heavy (for me). They really make me very weary after a short time. But I now feel this is good for me.
Anyway, Archie and I set off east, with no destination in mind. But I felt a bit weak after not too long, so we had a rest and a coffee (and a croissant) in Victor Hugo's. And after that - funnily enough - I felt better. In fact, I was revived enough to set off round the Meadows, somewhere I haven't been for a while. And it was fun. For both of us.
I let Archie off the lead to run around, and roll in the grass and sniff around, but he was so good, he kept an eye on me. If I stopped to talk to people, which I did, he was watching and just hanging around. We walked right across the Meadows on the grass. He played with a stick for a while too.
We then popped in to see Dougal and his mum and have a cuppa. Archie and Dougal get on so well now, they were even a bit frisky. (Extra)
But the main news of the day is that the marvellous TV technician came and in about two minutes had the TV working properly. He did add a small cable off a pile of important looking cables, with important looking, but not needed, labels on them. Brilliant!
We passed the major roadworks which are now coming to an end. I often stop to watch them working with the hugs machines. They've been on the go for a couple of years, but it's the last few yards now.
