Tavern

I had another visit to the surgery this morning. This time, it was for blood tests, and, again, it was very swift: the appointment was on time, and blood was taken quickly; the nurse even booked a follow-up session with the doctor in just over a week. It all seems remarkably efficient.  On the way back home, I had to pick up a prescription from Boots on the corner, and in the spirit of yesterday’s #ChangingHighStreet photo, I took this one of the #RaynesParkTavern - although I think the Biffa bins ended up being more striking. 

I had another afternoon catch-up with my boss for the annual performance review. I was very humbled by the positive feedback. There’s an opportunity to coach and develop others, and I think I should try to do more on that front. Generally, it was a great conversation.
