Shared garden daffodils

These daffodils are in our shared garden. When I popped out to photograph them at lunchtime, I spotted that the wind had blown over quite a few of the crop. I brought the ones that I found on the ground indoors. They are now happy in a vase on our kitchen table.

Our two highlights of the day involve other blippers. First, this morning we booked a weekend away at the Haltwhistle walking festival in May, arranging to see walkingMarj when we are there. Then this afternoon Sallymair called in to pick up a small picture. The timing of Sallymair's visit was perfect for a break for tea, scones and Christmas cake, and quite a lot of chat about the unsaid on Blipfoto.

The rest of the day I have exercised, dealt with Mummy hazelh admin, worked on a presentation that I am delivering on Friday, and edited more of the journal article that I am writing with Rachel.

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; 5k run; walking (9,212 steps including run).
