Dreich. Then sunshine.

Day 2 of the new regime is going well. After my chair exercises, Archie and I had a brisk walk to the Links in the HAAR! Yes, while the rest of the country has warm weather... I did say I wouldn't complain about the weather here... Anyway, by the afternoon the haar had cleared and we had sunshine.

Archie walks so nicely on the lead now, you'd hardly know he was there - except when we pass one of the cafes, then he pulls me past. He had a great big run around the Links, and we met a lovely wee schnauzer, Rocket. Then later, we had a big walk down to the Meadows. I forgot to bring some treats, so had to stop at the caravan for a coffee for me and (doggie) muffin for him.

I must say, it was a bit of a struggle coming back up the road. My step count wasn't working for my first two walks (I also walked to the shop) but I know I've done about 8,000. 

I was home in time to watch the rugby. JR took Archie out for another walk. He'll be tired - he's an old man now...

PS My email dramas of yesterday seem to have magically sorted themselves.
