Remembering Pickle

Ali got Pickle and her "sister from the next litter" in 2011. Sadly, neither of them was long lived, Maisie died in 2019 just 8 years old and Pickle last year. After Maisie died Ali commissioned a picture of her. I wondered if she would do the same for Pickle. Today when I visited I saw this on the staircase. It has caught Pickle perfectly. I asked about it and discovered that Ali's mother in law had drawn it for her as a surprise Christmas gift. It's just perfect. I'll put a picture of Pickle as an extra and you can see .
This morning I went with Ali and the girls to visit the new Maybury Primary School which is newly opened. It's a lovely building and meets current thinking very well.
